On January 5, 2018, the Circuit Court of Cook County, Illinois entered an order providing for the filing of proofs of claims in the Life Services Network Trust receivership estate and establishing a claim filing deadline of March 30, 2018. The court also set a deadline of May 31, 2018 as the last day that any insured’s timely filed contingent claim must be liquidated by presenting proof of payment to the Rehabilitator. On November 12, 2009, an Agreed Order of Rehabilitation with Finding of Insolvency was entered against LIFE SERVICES NETWORK TRUST (“LSN TRUST”) by the Circuit Court of Cook County, Illinois (“Supervising Court”). In connection therewith, the Court has ordered that LSN TRUST be placed in Rehabilitation in accordance with Article XIII of the Illinois Insurance Code 215 ILCS 5/187,et seq LSN TRUST was organized pursuant to the Illinois Religious and Charitable Risk Pooling Trust Act, 215 ILCS 150/1, and as such is not a member company of the Illinois Insurance Guaranty Fund. Guaranty fund protections are, accordingly, not available to LSN TRUST beneficiaries. LSN TRUST did not renew any coverage as of October 1, 2009. Any claims for losses occurring prior to that date are subject to a temporary moratorium on payment, until a Rehabilitation Plan is presented to and approved by the Supervisory Court. However, under the terms of the applicable provision of the Rehabilitation Order, during the moratorium period, claims for temporary total disability payments, temporary partial disability payments and prospective medical treatment for an injured worker of a trust beneficiary will continue to be paid by the LSN Trust as hardship claims at the rate of seventy percent (70%) of the amount due or past due, subject to true-up with the terms of any Rehabilitation Plan that is subsequently approved by the Supervising Court. New covered claims may continue to be reported to the LSN TRUST Administrator, IPMG, and/or its affiliate ClaimsOne. On January 15, 2010, Life Services Network Trust added a Frequently Asked Questions section See LSN Trust FAQ. A Petition to Approve Form of Notice and Set a Hearing Date regarding the proposed LSNT Plan of Rehabilitation was filed on February 23, 2010 and is scheduled to be presented on March 4, 2010. Once the form of notice has been approved and the hearing date has been scheduled, the Rehabilitator will send a notice and the proposed rehabilitation plan to present and former LSNT members for their consideration. See Petition On March 4, 2010, the Supervising Court entered an order approving the form of Notice of a Proposed Plan of Rehabilitation. Notice will be delivered to persons and entities who may still have an interest in and/or obligations to Life Services Network Trust. Any such person and/or entity receiving notice who desires to object to the proposed Plan of Rehabilitation must submit such objections in writing to counsel for the Rehabilitator on or before April 15, 2010.
