On Wednesday, September 23, 2020, the Liquidator issued an award of bid to Buckle Corp. on his Invitation for Bids for the purchase of the corporate charters, and 64 state insurance licenses of American Service Insurance Company and American Country Insurance Company. The award remains subject to final documentation and the approval of the court supervising the liquidation proceedings of these two companies.

The Liquidator of American Service Insurance Company and American Country Insurance Company (“ASIC & ACIC”) is seeking to sell, pursuant to an Invitation For Bids (“IFB”) process, ASIC & ACIC’s corporate charter and 64 combined certificates of insurance or state insurance licenses.
